Sapphire Wizard Fired Arts has moved to a new location. We can be found at 1459 US Hwy 395, Gardnerville, NV 89410. Our contemporary ceramic studio is across from Battle Born Wine, north of Sharkys Casino. Our summer hours are Tuesday - Saturday 10:00am to 6:00pm.

The studio will be closed over the 4th of July weekend beginning July 1. We will reopen Tuesday, July 6th for regular business. Come in the week of July 6th to save 20% on all poured bisque at our Christmas in July sale. You do not need to paint it the day you buy it as we can store it for you. The more you buy, the more you save.

We are continuing with our summer schedule of Wednesday night Jewelry making classes and Thursday Kids-N-Klay. We've have added some extras by inviting Camille Howard to teach a series of brushstrokes classes, plus at the end of the month a special airbrushing class. Reserve your place in any of the classes early as they are sure to fill up, pre-register now.

‡ Wednesdays 6pm - 8pm: Beading & Jewelry Making with Danielle Reich, each class is a different piece. Updated on the website by each Monday, Pre-registration required.

$#8225; Thursdays 1 - 3pm: Kids-N-Klay Molding and creating with clay develops fine and gross motor skills as well as keeping artistic creativity alive in children. Sapphire Wizard Fired Arts is providing that oportunity this summer. They will learn building with slabs, pinch pot, and coiling techniques. Make Thursdays the day your kids continue their mental and physical development throughout the summer. A different project every two weeks. Pre-registration required.

‡ July 13 & 20 from 10am - 2pm and July 27 - Aug 17 (10am - 2pm): Brushstrokes classes with Camille Howard. Learn the techniques of painting with a dagger brush on the 13th and combine the techniques of a round brush, square brush, and the dagger brush in a special project on July 20th. This is a 4-part class series will be repeated starting Tuesday, July 27th and continuing weekly through August 17th.Pre-registration required.

‡ July 31, 9am - 5pm: Airbrush Painting Class with Camille Howard. Come and enjoy painting with an airbrush on ceramics green ware. Yes, you will paint on the ceramic pieces before they are fired into the bisque state. Students will airbrush 3 green ware pieces with non-toxic ceramic under glaze paints. Each student will return August 7th from 9 to 10am to apply glaze to their pieces. August 14th from 1:30 - 2:00pm is a party for students to pick up their finished fired pieces. Pre-registration required.

Also remember on Tuesdays two painters paint for the price of 1 and Fridays are Teacher Appreciation days, all teachers get 15% discount.
